Description
Search and Rescue
Originally, the CROC was developed as an inflatable canoe to enable rafting operators to access waterways where no other boat could go. There are literally thousands of these in use by commercial river operators worldwide, the many who know the CROC will readily agree that these hardy boats can be relied on under even the most extreme conditions.
For these same reasons the standard Croc soon found its way into the rescue services as a white water rescue tool. ARK responded to this application by upping the specification of the standard CROC to accommodate the heavy rope access work required in swift water rescue. Heavy Duty Multi-directional D-Rings ensure that rescue lines have several 1000 kg attachment points.
The Rescue CROC is now widely used as a rapid deployment rescue craft by rescue services and police search and rescue.
The CROC is available with two floor versions, the built in foam floors preferred by the rafting outfitters while the Airfloor ‘ s packed size is favored where space is premium.
This versatile inflatable boat is at home in any conditions.
Weighing in at just 23kgs, it folds to the size of a large suitcase and is easily deployed by one operator.
