Description
Black Ice 3% AFFF foam concentrate is a foam concentrate formulated to be used for rapid extinguishment of Class B hydrocarbon fuel fires. The concentrate can also be used on Class A fires. This concentrate is suitable for use with fresh, brackish and seawater.
Black Ice 3% AFFF must be mixed at 3 parts concentrate to 97 parts water. The generated foam can be used to extinguish class B hydrocarbon fires, prevent reignition of liquids and to minimize hazards of spilt hydrocarbons.
Black Ice 3% AFFF can be proportioned using common firefighting equipment. For example, proportioning devices such as eductors, ratio controllers and self-inducting nozzles and discharge devices such as aspirating and non-aspirating nozzles.
This concentrate is not intended for use on Class B polar fuels like acetone or methanol. Do not mix Black Ice 3% AFFF with other foam concentrates.
